1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using PDFZippy (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of the terms, you may not use the Service.

PDFZippy provides free, client-side online tools to edit, merge, compress, split, convert, and analyze PDF documents.

2. Privacy & Client-Side Processing

Your privacy is our core principle. All core PDF operations (merging, splitting, editing, compressing, converting) execute locally within your browser using WebAssembly and Web Workers.

Your files are never uploaded to, transmitted to, or stored on PDFZippy servers. For AI features (such as Chat with PDF or AI Summariser), document text is only transmitted to AI providers upon your explicit consent. Full details are described in our Privacy Policy.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree to use PDFZippy solely for lawful purposes. You must not use the Service to process unlawful, defamatory, infringing, or malicious content.

You must not attempt to reverse engineer, disrupt, or burden the infrastructure or APIs supporting the Service.

4. Support Contributions & Payments

PDFZippy is free to use without paywalls or forced accounts. Users may voluntarily contribute financial support through one-time payments or recurring monthly/yearly subscriptions to help fund hosting, infrastructure, and ongoing development.

Support payments and subscriptions are processed by our Merchant of Record and payment gateway partner, Dodo Payments. PDFZippy never stores or has access to your payment card details.

All payments are billed in the currency selected at checkout (such as INR or USD) and include applicable taxes.

5. Cancellation Policy

You can cancel your monthly or yearly recurring subscription at any time with zero penalty or fees.

Cancellations can be made directly via the self-service management link included in every email receipt sent by Dodo Payments, or by reaching out to our support team.

Upon cancellation, your subscription will not renew, and no further charges will be made. You will retain any active supporter status until the end of the already-paid billing period.

6. Refund Policy

Voluntary contributions directly fund ongoing server and development costs. However, we want you to be completely satisfied.

If you made a contribution accidentally, experienced an unintended duplicate charge, or were dissatisfied with a transaction, we offer a full 14-day refund window from the date of payment.

To request a refund, contact us within 14 days with your payment receipt or transaction ID. Approved refunds are processed promptly and credited back to your original payment method within 3–7 business days via Dodo Payments.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.

While we strive for accurate and reliable document manipulation and conversion, PDFZippy does not guarantee that output files will always be error-free or that the Service will be uninterrupted.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, PDFZippy and its creator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your access to or use of the Service.
